Purchases and support

Stripe handles payment. Purchase email addresses, payment-session references and licence-delivery records are retained to deliver licence keys, validate purchases and provide support.

Support uses Crisp chat. Crisp processes the messages, contact details and attachments you choose to share, along with chat session and connection information, to provide support. Chat session cookies may keep your conversation available when you return. Purchase emails are stored separately in Firebase for licence delivery, purchase validation and support.

Activation and device binding

The plugin connects to the Huxxi licensing service to check activation and prevent licence sharing and misuse. One licence is bound to one computer and works in both supported games.

Your raw MAC address is not sent to or stored by the licensing server. Hashed device and network-adapter identifiers, licence status, and activation and check timestamps are stored to verify the device binding. Hashing is different from reversible encryption. Local activation information uses Windows encryption. The installer can reuse this activation and validates it online before map generation. Installing the plugin and configuring folders do not require a licence.

Gemini keys and AI conversations

Your Google Gemini API keys are not received or stored by the Huxxi licensing server. The plugin protects your primary and fallback keys locally with Windows encryption and connects directly to Google.

When you use AI, your questions, microphone audio and relevant game context are sent to Google to generate replies. Google’s service terms and data practices apply. Do not send API keys in support messages.

Generated map setups

The installer reads local game and selected map files to create a compatibility pack and matching protected data. Map generation happens on your computer. The pack goes into your mod folder; its data goes into the matching hxdata setup folder in your game installation. Temporary scan metadata is protected and removed after the run. Reusable installer components remain beside the installer.

The generated data is protected with Windows-user-bound encryption. It is not a replacement for your original maps. Regenerate after changing your map setup or moving to another computer.

Local progress and website hosting

Your roleplay settings and progress remain on your computer and are not uploaded to the licensing service. This storefront loads Crisp for customer support. Hosting and third-party services may process request information, including IP addresses, as part of their normal operation. Patreon and Stripe apply their own policies when you visit them.

Game and asset credits

Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator belong to SCS Software. Huxxi Roleplay is an independent community mod and is not an official SCS product or endorsement.

Passenger asset contributors include AppleML, Willet.inc, 鲁丁丁 and Farcel. Capcom retains rights to its character and model content. Included assets remain subject to their owners’ rights and reuse terms, including the original non-commercial restriction on one character asset. The release’s Disclaimer.txt contains the complete asset and bundled software notices.
